Who prefers what when going for a meal ? And if you opt for buffet how guilty are you of eating way more than you'd eat if it was served to you or sat at home with a meal ... Think for me it depends on the occasion ..I'm a creature of habit with food so the buffet does give opportunity to explore new foods as otherwise I eat same things all the time .. |

So I do prefer an alacart menu instead
Only exception I will make for buffet is the Pink Turban in Wishaw which is fabulous |

"Prefer table service as when we go buffet style we are stuffed with starters and stuggle with the main courses and puddings .... our eyes are always bigger than our bellies
"
Lol I always eat way more than I would at table service . Saying that I eat more at a restaurant than I would at home for dinner |

Love a good buffet but get massively put off when you see fat people indulging like its the last meal they are going to eat ever , surely going back numerous times would be better than heaping the plate like a pigs trough |

I enjoy buffets because you can have pudding to start with , plus with buffets you can always try something you haven't had before and not worry about not liking it and going home hungry.
But for a special night then it has to be table service for me |

Goodness me, I have seen very slim people going up time and time again!!! Being big doesn't mean you are a greedy bugger!!! My ex used to gorge himself and he was quite slim! |

The only buffets I go to are breakfast ones. The last time I was there with my 3 kids was when we were staying in a hotel.
They ate more than I bloody did!!! My 12 year old is stick thin and ate more than twice as much as me!!!!! And I'm no slim Jim lol.
But that's why I like table service. I can order what I want, when I want. The only exception in the last couple of years has been lunch at Pizza Hut with my 2 boys. But only because it was quick and easy. |

Even though I am big/fat myself I would never gorge at a buffet as I'm likely to heave myself. I don't mind a buffet but I much prefer table service, a much more refined way of dining. |

Only exception I will make for buffet is the Pink Turban in Wishaw which is fabulous I agree that most of them aren't as good quality. Pink turban is definitely a good choice but recently went to hub lee and world flame buffet last night and really thought food was excellent quality. Lol I actually prefer more starters than mains at a buffet too "
Pink turban and hup lee.... 2 of my faves
Never had a bad meal in either and I'm like the fussiest eater in the world.
I'm also a creature of habit and sadly I go to these and always say I'll try something new..... Nope always eat what I know ill like lol. |
