This site is full of fake profiles,picture hunters,and the worst of all the dreaded TIMEWASTER.
I'm fed up of getting ready and you girls now how long it takes only to be left standing. Frustrating  |

I have to say, I've been very lucky and not experienced this myself, but if there had been no text to say he was on his way or running late and he wasn't here within 20 minutes of his expected time, I would say fuck it. If it's happening a lot to you though, maybe it's time to look at your selection criteria? Just a thought. |

I have to agree here ..do you meet socially with your meets before playtime?
If not then id start doing so that way you get a feel for that person and have a fairly good idea if they are going to turn up for a meet or not  |

As I don't know what your criteria is, I can't make a suggestion, but, if you are being stood up a lot, there is obviously an issue somewhere. I'm only thinking back to other threads with other Fabsters who have experienced similar difficulties and that was one suggestion. |

As I don't know what your criteria is, I can't make a suggestion, but, if you are being stood up a lot, there is obviously an issue somewhere. I'm only thinking back to other threads with other Fabsters who have experienced similar difficulties and that was one suggestion."

Thats not great hun, very annoying.
Think Miss D has a point though. Would rather get stood up for a coffee than when I've made an effort to get ready and looking forward to a play meet |

The thing is mts dit your sitting at home would be much worse if you were standing out in the cold waiting for him...and remember you can report a no show to admin. |

I don't understand the need to timewaste.... I am new to this but is it not a bit mental organising a meet only to not turn up...
I would part someone's plums if I got dressed and they never turned up....

in your case mrs dlt i would be more pissed off that he now knows your address than the fact he didn't show. but also the block button would be a good place to start.
i had a spell of this too but ironically it wasn't from the newbies without verifications but those who had been on the site for more than a year and had been verified by people i know.
just be more selective when arranging meets in future, chat a bit more first and like suggested meet for a drink or cuppa somewhere first. |
