Got my Stage 1 but had to stop lessons as the instructor was only available on a Wed morning. Did enjoy it but wish Xscape had advised when I first started taking my lessons that they'd do Stage 2 at a completely different time that wasn't suitable before they took my money for Stage 1.

you can do a learn to board in a day class which does up to level 4 or 5

We're both boarders, off to Japan in March

Yep, both novice boarders here. J is still getting the hang of it and I'm not too bad. I can get down the slope without falling and / or hurting myself so I'm practically a pro now!

Wold love to get up to Aviemore this year. Where in Scotland would anyone recommend as being the best place to go?

I used to shred years ago, at the very start of the sport, probably around 1989. I had a Burton Cruise 155....oh and I'm a natural.

Started boarding in 81 with a Burton swallow tail Winterstick .Wasn't many boards about those days and we had to climb to surf nice deep powder which is what they were designed for.

Sw Scotland

I enjoy a bit of boarding. Been going up North for about 10 -12 years and been abroad once or twice. Been talking of going to Snowbombing for The last 5 years but never got round to it. Maybe next year. Failing that a nice chalet in the Highlands for the weekend would be great!
