Just bought a new drive and am trying to load Windows 7 back on ... keep getting BSOD ... anyone any ideas what I can do to resolve it?

Used to do it all the time with my old computer, ended up getting new laptop!

Means you probably fucked up somwhere along the line and its time to plash out on a new pooter

Hey matey... Yeah... Unplug everything apart from one stick of ram and the new HDD and DVD.... Still bsod??

Unplug DVD... Still bsod? Swap ram stick... Still bsod .. use old HDD....still bsod...

I'm BACK properly now ... Looks like my MB doesn't like the new 2TB HD even in smaller partitions. It's now just a storage slave disk ... Older HD is working fine, reformatted, updated software etc.

Thanks for those that helped me ... reading forum on phone hasn't been easy.
