just curious to see wether its me or its actually happening . browsing profiles lately and they seem to be getting shorter and shorter especially the woman . you know the one sentence or maybe two or the infamous will update later (even though they been on 3 months ) , no pics of any description , basically very little effort put into it . i and a lot of other guys put a lot of effort in to profiles and i know there are a lot more guys but why should the standards be lower for women ? why is it some can totally get away with writing something along the lines of " new here , just looking for fun " and thats it . dont seem very fair to me at all . dont get me wrong there are some cracking couples and fem profiles that when read are very entertaining and honest . i seen one recently which was a single fems basically full of abuse for single guys , the very people they looking for , and its a one liner no pics etc etc does my head in grrrrrrrr  |

I often get mail saying my profile is quite negative, but hey it's the standard of mail I have received in the past that has made it that way.
Despite it's being read as negative I still get mail from people who don't meet my requirements set out in my profile.
Sometimes I think why have anything written there, it's hardly read by many?
Perhaps those perceived as lazy are actually just exasperated! |

no tunt on here is getting up it

I think its because so many dont give any value to the written part a profile any more.
For some (loads!!!) its all about the pics (faces optional)and the numbers game. So many will fuck anything and be fucked by anything and indeed some see it as a badge of honour because they can have a long list of verifications or lay claim that they are soooo popular because they have had loads of meets.
The net offers soo many options and numbers..that some reckon it matters not what effort they put into the spoken (or written) word..but more about just getting out there and getting some.
With so many singles and soo many saying 'all the right things' in chat etc..some believe the hype and think the fact they are willing is all thats required..
I do think what someone writes on a profile does matter and should be noted before chatting and can give an indication if that person would 'click' with you..only my opinion..
It should be quality..not quantity...but well each to their own!

Being a single guy and in the vast majority on this site, to have any kind of success you need to put an extra bit of effort into your profile and private messages.
The same could be said with the effort that is put into private messages. Sometimes a sentence in length, and exactly what i'd expect to get ignored for OR not replied to if i were to send the same message to a couple or single female.
Bare in mind, in order to stand out from the other few hundred messages couples and females receive every time they log in ...it's GOT TO stand out from the rest!
Unfortunately it's just one of those things, c'est la vie. |

I think that this happens a lot of the time because of the increase in documentaries and newspaper headlines about swinging and a lot of people make a profile on here 'just to have a nose' so aren't actually interested in making a decent profile.

One line profiles and one line messages don't do much for us (especially the "wanna f*ck" message).
A little bit about yourselves, and what your looking for ticks the boxes with us. But as other posters have said, just move on to the next profile. |

hmm fair enough thanks for the input . must just be me lol didnt mean it to soun d like a why does nobody read my profile thing , was just genuinly wondering about it . as for negative profiles etc hmm i dont think any profile is negative if its honest , with the exception of the one i mentioned which seriously was a big massive fuck off to almost everyone who read it . but thanks guys |
