I wonder if women are more likely to get away with being rude on Fab than men? Just a question - what do people think?

I kinda think so too, but my thoughts are only based on recent events so wasn't sure if I was getting a skewed perspective or not.

No i dont agree if you think they do then maybe draw it to the attention of admin ..everyone who breaks the rules should be treated the same .

I would say they don't. I would say everyone gets banned if they've been naughty and broken the rules regardless of gender

I wouldn't say it was restricted to just females, if ppl are rude just ignore, block and if necessary report to admin. Lifes too short

Yes I agree with that entirely, but it does seem to me that sometimes (not always) guys get blocked for very little - even gentle teasing - but some have to put up with worse than that in return and the perpetrator is not subjected to the same punishment.

Just an observation and lets face it, the forum would be a lot less interesting without it's 'characters'.

Whilst I see where you are coming from, the mods may have seen it get out of hand between 2 users in the past and decide to nip it in the bud before it gets to the banning stage and close threads but I still think bans tend to be equally split between the sexes

Well perhaps you and I will have to agree to disagree then. Not for the first time either but hey-ho - I just wondered what other people thought and its mixed apparently. Which is fine.

But unless ur friends with every single person on here how do you know more men than females get more bans?

Thats true - I can't 'know' for certain. Its just an impression I get - as do some others it seems.

Perhaps its just something worth keeping an eye on for a bit?

im sure many observe the forums without posting and if it really was a case of males being targated for bans then im sure admin would also be doing their own internal investigations as to why it was happening?

But they are so busy and have hundereds of of things to deal with on here everyday so if you do think its going on as I said report it and ask them to look into it maybe?

Oh I was simply trying to canvas opinion. Sometimes someone has to highlight a notion before other people actually notice one way or another. As you say, amin must have their work cut out for them sometimes.

North of The Wall - youll need your vest

Maybe some people are quick to report 'people they dont like', but dont bother reporting 'people they do like' who do exactly the same thing.

If someone makes a report then it is reviewed by Admin and if it breaks site rules then it is dealt with. A ban is based on the reason why the ban is being given, not the persons gender.
