We have been to the last 3 or 4 TG's.

The caves is a really good venue although Laura says the cobbles can be tricky. Always a good atmosphere and 99% of people make a real effort with their outfits.

Looking forward to November already.

This will be the first year for me also. Got a friend coming from Newcastle for it and she is very excited.

Will definitely be going for a drink around the area before hand. No idea which bar though.

Should be brilliant. I've heard fantastic things.

You should try take it off as a holiday or quit for one day and then go back and say I don't know what came over me.

I'm hoping to go to the November TG. Went in April and met with a few fabbers. We met in hotel bar socially before for a drink and chat then met up at club.

It was a great night.

We go to TG regularly and are already booked up for the November weekend.

It's always a really good night. Loads of amazing costumes and a lot of good acts on.

There are usually quite a lot of couples from the site go.

If we see you there we might let you buy us a drink

We're planning on being there

Going to try and sort out tickets and accommodation over the weekend. Attended the one in December last year and had a great night. Though as already commented on, the cobbled floor was a nightmare in heels! Ended up taking mine off very early on.

Can't wait to find an outfit and new (cobble friendly) shoes to wear

Any recommendations on accommodation for the TG weekend? Can't decide if a hotel or apartment would be best.

We normally book an apartment as we do the full weekend so we can take in a couple of burlesque shows.

If you're only doing the one night then a hotel is your best bet.

Brilliant, thanks

Going to be making a weekend of it now as have tickets to go see The Lion King with family on the Friday night.

Think I've found the place I want to stay!

We booked our hotel a few months ago but just noticed Scotland are playing South Africa at Murrayfield on the Sunday so accommodation may be a bit dearer than normal.
