Sorry I had to post this as it is seriously beginning to annoy me lol, why do people engage in a conversation with you, asking the usual questions e.g where in Falkirk you from, what you looking for, what age were you when you met jimmy saville, that sort of thing, then when you answer them they don't reply, having read your message but just can't be arsed??? Anybody else have feelings on this? And has anybody actually met jimmy saville??? Lol |

It happens Remember women can get a 100message in a day

We always try to reply to fist messages and wouldnt just ignore anyone unless they get rude or crude but If having messages ignored annoys you then you likely need to get a thicker skin if you're going to stay on Fab. |

How long do you give them to answer?
And why ask if they got it when you can simply check that yourself?
And as I said earlier, they may not have liked your answer!! |

OP if your on the edge of yer seat eagerly waiting a reply to something as trivial as...." hi where are you from "? Maybe busy yourself with a few other messages or put the kettle on....plus people sense a type of over enthusiasm...and quickly will clinically stop bothering to reply for that reason alone. |

there are thousands of men and only hundreds of women. when i get a read without an immediate delete i take it as a nearly - trouble is the competition is probably pretty fierce on here - even if people do complain about the timewasters. |

To the OP -if you are still on chat terms with the people, have you asked them why no response.
Also if you simple said where you live, did your message invite a response by asking a question.
If you simply made a statement, then you cant blame anyone if they read it as that - a statement.

"Sometimes my hubby checks mail but doesn't reply so replies wait till I go on. Maybe if its a couple can be similar reason.
Yep. Same here. "
And here. And to be honest, everyone has a life outside of fab which usually takes precedence. Am afraid I'm occasionally guilty of "delayed reply" but do answer all messages at some point. Sx |

I'm a serial deleter so sometimes forget I've not responsed. I do get a helluva lot of messages though an since I can't afford a pa, I tend to just delete these days. Only change is if someone clearly put some thought into their message I will always reply thanks but no. Some can be quite rude when you say no though. Thankfully most people are fine |
