I think the exact wording of the press release is "maybe pregnant", I wouldn't get your knitting needles out yet.
Still, anything is better than hearing about the Royals. |

Was thinking the same thing, they won't know if the pandas pregnant until 24 hours before she's due then Jezza Kyle brings the crew to do a paternity test |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
They're still not certain but Tian Town is sleeping more.
I'm beginning to think Pandas are alien though. The pregnant panda may 'reabsorb any foetuses'. It's like they don't want to get off the endangered list. |

All mammals, including humans, can re absorb foetuses. No idea why the media have picked up on this other than their general ignorance of facts. |

We tend to do it rather early in the pregnancy though. |

All I would like to add to post is it will be a great thing for Edinburgh and the zoo is she does give birth as it has never happened in Britain even when it was tried in Londonderry zoo ( regent park ) many a moon ago so lets all keep our fingers crossed that it is born as we do need these animals to survive & not forgetting it will be 1-0 to Scotland |

Embra zoo is doing rather nicely selling tickets to people who might just want to be there when it happens.
These pandas are costing a lot of money and it has to be recouped somehow.
