VENUE HAS CANCELLED ON US DUE TO ..........
This money we were raising was to benefit:- DYING CHILDREN AN TO MAKE THEIR LAST SHORT TIME WITH THEIR PARENTS AN SIBLINGS A LITTLE EASIER ON THEN ALL . FOR MY FRIEND WHO LOST HER LITTLE BOY THIS TIME LAST YR TO GIVE SOMETHING BK TO ROBIN HOUSE IN HER SONS NAME AN FROM ALL OF US WHO TAKE THE TIME TO SUPPORT THOSE NITES SO I HOPE YOU ARE FKN PROUD OF YER SEL THERE WHO EVER YOU ARE:-
it has been brought to my attention that some durty fkr has sent out acopy of the email to the venue an word for fkn word as i had sent out they implied that it was not a charity night also .
THE OWNER OF THE VEUNE HAS GIVEN ME THE EMAILERS ID
saying that we were going to be using drugs and that we were going to be playing at the venue .
THEY have also stated that they have sent copies to the police an the papers telling them of the nite an that we are not hoplding a charity night but a swingers nite .
we are now working on anew venue and this one will be kept hush hush .
i can assure the fkn eejit that YOU will not stop these charity nights .
you are spoiling the charities we have benefited in the past an the coming future so what you game is i have no idea .
Plz note we are working on it now an if all else fails we will give a refund to all those who sent donations and money for tickets .
plz also note matey that some people cannot get money bk from hotels an you have made a lot of people on here fkn mad .....

sorry to hear that some small minded person has taken it upon themselves to lie and ruine the event . i just have to laugh that someone obviously on the site has decided to become mary whitehouse and decide we all need a moral gardian lol !!
i have no doubts that every GENIUNE person on here will pull together (as weve done before) and show what a community of geniune ,dedicated and careing folks we are !
if you need help with anything sioux you can shout me and the bunkmiester !
as for the juvinile ,cowardly and self centred waste of sperm who did this . just remember karmas a bitch and truely believe what goes around comes around ! we may not all be there to see it but ive no doubts youll remember what you did when the shite hits fan for you ,and i will! and unlike the rest of the ppl on here youll be totally on your own with out any friends and and support! |

Although we couldn't manage to get along to the charity night, I am so shocked how low some people can be.
As for the venue, doesn't say much about them either.
Hope the CHARITY night comes off and you all get a good night out as well as raising money for a great and much needed cause. |

Well I hope this person can sleep at night knowing they've ruined an event being held in memory of a loving child taken from his family so young.
The party itself was of no consequence but the reason behind it was.

Not often I say this but "words fail me" what kind of twisted perverted pleasure could anyone get from doing this ? Robin House is such a worthwhile cause none of us know when we will need the type of support that these places give to make a very emotional situation slightly more bearable.
My heart goes out to Sioux, Rescue and more so Sub that this fundraising event has been sabotaged.

having just read the posting, sioux, im totally disgusted at what this arsehole did, when it was ur fabulous idea, for a huge money raising event, for needy kids charities, the low life who did this obviously has no morals, whatsoever with their scuppering of ur nite hun, they have deprived needy kids, of much needed support, I sincerely hope the pleb who did this is located, named, shamed and banned, and thats putting it mildly. Although i wasnt down for ur social, i wonder if its possible to go to the re-arranged venue, or if not, make some sort of donation- i'm not working but am sure i can manage a few pounds, for a very worthy cause.

I am so totally disappointed that someone from this site could be so underhanded. This site relies on discreetion and trust in it's fellow members, and this will make ppl think twice about organising socials and even meets. To the low life who did this may you be plaqued by skin biting beasties all over your privates. And Sioux hope you manage to secure another venue and let this idiot know he can not stop our fundraising events. We have a hotel booked but are more annoyed about this platant betrayal of a fellow member. |

Was just about to post a similar message to this. BigD and I are dissappointed that the night has been cancelled but are by no means looking for our money back. Please give the money for our tickets to the charity. We do hope the night goes ahead as we were looking forward to meeting loads of nice people(obviously the arsehole that did this is excluded from this) but if its not then we still want the charity to benefit somehow, and like everybody else we believe in karma. I`m glad it wasnt us that did it, and I have no pity for the person who did. They deserve all they get. I think it also could be someone who hasnt got as much attention from the group as they would have liked, or has been shunned by someone that they were hoping to have a chance with.

Well lets not allow the low life whoever he or she is to ruin anything. Wasn't going myself but by getting another venue we DON'T allow such a waster to win.
Can't help with anything in Ayrshire sadly babes but have MANY contacts in Lanarkshire and Glasgow if in the worst scenario you need to get venue/hotels arounds these parts.
Either way Im sure the WILL not to let the loser win will overcome. |

Quite funny how everybody assumed it has been a male as the perpretator.
We are still working hard sorting out another venue and will endeavour to make this happen folks. Try and keep calm, yes it has happened now, also in the past and i am sure that it will again, and thats what makes us such a special group of people, in the way we can rally round and support each other through difficult times like this. No need for a witch hunt at this stage,more so putting our efforts in making this happen will indeed make the person think twice about sabotage again, maybe even make them more determined to destroy our fun, so lets rise above it all, and continue to grow in our success.

The email address doesn't mean its female or male - could even be a pissed off couple.
It would be good if you got a new venue BUT...... who can be trusted to get the information on the venue??????? Was it a newbie going to their first social? Was it an old hand who is pissed off with FAB and is sticking the knife in? EIther way this could mean the end of socials as they are cos who can we trust - its happened once possibly twice so is likely to happen again.
Does this mean we need to have a much stricter policy if organising a social?
Either way whatever happens if there is no replacement venue then our ticket money should go to Robin House anyway. I'm sure every single person - with the possible exception of a certain nameless person - would agree as I notice some have already. At least that way if we miss out on a good night out the Charity doesn't suffer too much.

Big D suggested that on each email there should be some code word, explicite to that one and only email.This way if it is coppied and forwarded the person can be traced. I know it would mean alot more work but its maybe an idea. Don`t tell the recipient the code word, just add it into the email casually and keep a note of who that particular one was sent to. It might be worth thinking about for the future

I just got a text to tell me of this.
I am devastated for Sub, Sioux and rescue. For all the hard work they have put into this social.
And that's all it is, a social, a gathering, of like minded people hoping to raise funds, to support one of our owns personal cause. Not a debauched night of sex and drugs in the public eye.
I hope the lowlife(s) who destroyed these peoples fun and festivities for that one night realise just how much more they have not destroyed.
The Trust, faith and common decency that is inherent in every one of the persons attending and gifting money to Robin House will not be destroyed, and the resolve to make this night happen is set only more firmly now.
If I know my fellow fabbers Robin house will get it's donation, and everyone who makes an effort to go to a new venue will party harder to spite the fucking bastard(s) who opened their mouths. Who will have the last laugh?

At some point in our lives we all come across a charity one way or another, due to that many of us have raised money for a lot of fantastic and much needy to charities in a way of saying thank you and giving something back.

Hope we make the next one and will manage to make some sort of contribution to the fund raising.
