insta-verification

Has anyone else noticed a surge of new members with their first verification within an hour or 2 of joining but who don't display it? Seems suspicious to me....something is afoot!

theres loads of people who just put fake verifications on its pretty sad really takes the fun away from the site for the real ones

How do they get them though? They need to find a verified person to give them a verification, its not like they can all join & verify each other from the off.

It can be that they met prior to joining, or have been members before, and are verifying/being verified by old friends.

Of course there are some who ask for fake veris. I've been asked to give then in the past, and always refused.

We had friends we had met for years before they joined the site. When they joined we verified them right away.

I know that some people are previous members who have returned, but I'm just saying that almost every new profile is verified before its been on for a day or even a few hours. It just makes you wonder how many are real & how many aren't. Makes it harder to trust verifications, not that they are the main reason behind deciding to contact someone ofcourse.

so many fakes now i still refuse to accept anything short of a meet in person veri (webcam is nonsense) in my eyes.

been a fair few fake profiles running videos in chatrooms recently. guessing it wont be long till advertisment videos for amateur pornstars dot com or some such site starts appearing

I wonder if they just make a random profile, wait a while and then make their other one and use the first to 'verify' it?

Its all pointless in the end lol tis why I dont look at new profiles and am very sceptical about any new ones that message me.

I did something similar, an fb from my social life joined up so I verified him straight away as its difficult for single guys to get a foot in the door so to speak.

Someone has to verify the 1 st one though....

I just ignore iffy profiles.....Thats all of you by the way
