We are growing tomatoes, courgettes, aubergines, peppers, chillies, melons, pumpkin, asparagus, garlic, pea pods, runner beans, leaks, potatoes, chives, sweetcorn, lettuce and have fruit trees, cherry, apple and plum. Also we have a good variety of herbs which I dry for the winter. I think that's everything we are growing. Might have missed a couple of things. X | |||

We are growing tomatoes, courgettes, aubergines, peppers, chillies, melons, pumpkin, asparagus, garlic, pea pods, runner beans, leaks, potatoes, chives, sweetcorn, lettuce and have fruit trees, cherry, apple and plum. Also we have a good variety of herbs which I dry for the winter. I think that's everything we are growing. Might have missed a couple of things. X"Wow,that will keep you busy then.
I love the fact that this started off as a little thing foe me and my son to do, and now every year we carry it on. One other thing I love is there are no chemicals, pesticides and you can just pick it from your door step. It's the way forward. Will be doing a veg patch in every garden when we move. | |||

"It is great for the kids. Mine love going out and helping theirselves to the pea pods and other things. This is the first year we have done all that lot. Before we only grew potatoes, pea pods, strawberrys and my herbs so it will be exciting when it's all ready to eat. X" The kids will love it if there anything like mine. Just watch for picking and eating tomatoes too early as in I mean too green, my son did that last year and gave himself belly ache. 
But have fun with it, never grown pumpkin before, just have to see if it grows | |||

wow!! thats what we used to do at our old place.... garden here is a bit of a jungle, but we just got a lovely greenhouse, and we have tomatoes, aubergines, peppers and chillis. next year we hope to have more "Great, can't wait to have a full size greenhouse,just have a small poly one, great for us moving every three years. First time growing cucumbers for me taken up most of the green house already. | |||

"For these things do you need a greenhouse or something covering them up?" In Glasgow a greenhouse or a polytunnel would be assets but not 100% required. Someone who really knows would be able to advise about what to plant when and where. BTW, you can build a greenhouse out of some bamboo canes and loads of empty plastic 2 litre soft drinks bottles. | |||
