Do you mean Casino with DeNiro in it or Casino Royale? |

Or maybe the rather excellent film croupier staring Clive Owen and featuring the sexy character of Jani (Alex Kingston). |

"The royal tenembaums....totally lost!! i have written scripts too!"
Yeah terrible film.
Also jarhead. Talk about missing the point.
A guy joins the army and goes to the first Iraq war. His squad play football until they get a call to action. Then they get there to find it's all been taken care of.
After a few times this gets real annoying. There's action somewhere but these fuds keep showing up late when everyone is either dead or gone home for tea and scones.
This became sheer agony when they finally got somewhere that still had some enemy soldiers. After a big buildup, they are all set to go in but some planes turn up and bomb the Iraqis off the planet.
Back to base and more football. Somehow during all this inaction movie, the main guy goes slowly mad. This can only be caused by terminal boredom. Watching this crap I knew what he was going through.
I think the point may have been the war was mostly inaction, but that's no reason to make a shit film about it.
Anything by David Cronenberg doesn't make sense either
I don't know how they convinced the money men to finance some of the mince I've seen lately. |

Inception a very deep film. Yes I do get into dream states where I can go down like that Not as deep as DiCaprio's character but yes I have had lucid dreams that I can control.
Eyes Wide Shut is a bit too long for my liking, but then so is most of Kubricks movies.
Deals with sexual inadequacies of the main couple. Also although they live quite comfortably he discovers a whole new world going on around him where the rich and powerful can get away with just about anything because they just can
Never really watched a movie I didn't get. |

"Some of these "cult" status films are dog-tray too,,, Blade Runner? How? "
You are asking to get burned at the stake for that!
Bladerunner is a study in what it means to be human, what makes us human, and in a world of manufactured creatures, who are really the monsters?
The one thing that nobody gets about the film is Deckard. Is he human? Or is the Bladerunner himself a replicant, explaining his love for Rachael, and his empathy for Roy Batty as his death approaches. What ever the answer, it is not just a great movie, but IMO one of the greatest of all time. |
