What song for the summer?
Jump to: Newest in thread
I've just picked up my Pension & met Isa at the Pist Office. I gave a lift up the road in my Robin Reliant. She came in for a wee cuppa & a fig roll fae Navid's. We were listening to Clyde 2 & then Billie Jo Spears came on belting out "Blanket On The Ground". Whit a rerr wee tune that wis. before we knew it she wanted me to get up & hie her a burl roon the lounge carpet.
Anyway, what song from summers past or present makes you feel all sunny & smiley & shoogle yer erse roon the fler? |

"If he mentions The Communards or Kylie, Bru will be your new best friend, Fag Hags! "
You don't seem to have a summer song that makes you all smiley or want to shoogle yer erse. You're not related to Winston by any chance are you? |

"Groove Me by Fern Kinney. Just makes me so happy."
CLASSIC. It was years after it was released in 79 that I came across this song. Don't know why this never achieved the chart status it deserved as it's clearly a better track than Together We Are Beautiful. It's pulsing rhythm & sultry vocals definitely gets me wanting to "sookie sookie now" more than the King Floyd version ever did (which ironically Fern sang backing vocals on). |
