"Djokovic is a machine,
but i'm believing, this is Murrays year.
"
Djokovic didn't win his place in the final easily. Andy has beaten him before, and with an open win and olympic gold under his belt, I think he has the self belief to win this today.
Not forgetting the advantage of the crowd cheering for him, on court, on the hill and at home.
So Come On Andy, do yourself and us proud!!! |

I think so long as we know he is Scottish essentially, all that matters.
He went to Spain to become a better player, his trainers, coach etc, none of them are scottish and will be a part of his success if he wins. |

He has come on leaps and bound since Lendl, not just in his play but in his confidence and self belief.
Personally (my opinion, no one elses) I think his mum should stay away today, family pressure to please is destructive. |

Speaking as an earthling who happened to be born in England, I genuinely hope Andy wins and I'll be equally pleased for him regardless of whatever national identity he chooses to represent his amazing achievements...

"I think he's going to have to step up his game by a mile today. He's not looked that great so far in comparison to Djokovic"
as I said before HC, dorkadick struggled with his semi (fnarr fnarr).
Murray is classed as a mardy fucker, but if you have been "sporting" for 3 or 4 hours, would you really want to be happy smiley interviewee straight after??
Was borg, mcenroe, connors, navratilova, lendl, becker ever vilified as much as Murray is.
A lot of people forget why he took up tennis... Not just his mum. It was to forget that childhood trauma. Lest we forget.
Win or runner up (he is not a loser in my eyes). He will always be a winner in my eyes.
Others may disagree, this is only my personal opinion x |

According to Sky News "The 26-year-old is expected to land a raft of new sponsorship deals if he triumphs on Centre Court and could be in line to earn up to £15m a year."
For that sort of money, the least he could do is pretend to be happy.

Pmsl!! Wendy you crack me up! Hope he does it, I said I'd blow everyone I've ever turned down if he loses
Doesn't matter if he's British or Scottish, he considers himself the latter as do most of us.
Do love the BBC though, dinnae put any pressure on the poor lad right enough
Good luck muzza!! |

Onny... Speaking from having met him, he is actually a really shy person.
Think back to last year's final when he broke down... That is the true Murray... Very private, does not court publicity. Personally I commend him for that. X |

Lendl has put the fight and belief in him.
Dockadick won't want to lose this one after losing last year.... Reckon it will be a 5set championship... But Murray is up for it. sorry to say, if he doesn't win today, he probably never will.
STEP UP ANDY, YOU KNOW YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!!! |

best thing i have seen tweeted on twitter...
Baffles me when ppl call Andy Murray "dour". He's from central Scotland. We consider him dangerously flamboyant, talkative & over-emotional
