When I was swinging as a couple nearly twenty years ago one of our rules was nobody local, to avoid possible embarrassment. We rarely met the same people twice and we always travelled. So meeting strangers in hotels was a helluva turn on for us, with the thinking being "we're never going to see these people again so let's be as debauched as we like".
Now I'm back on the scene as a single I've seen a few people objecting to meeting in a hotel, with some couples being downright hostile to the suggestion. Am I missing something? I realise we're all different and looking for different things but is meeting a stranger in a hotel so bad nowadays? |

Each to their own but It's usually been hotel meets for me or if the guy has his own place....but I've always met for a wee socail before arranging the "fun" meet! |

Safety issue for me. I don't go for it immediately an like a social meet first so I know I'm not meeting a deranged axe murderer. So I wouldn't do a hotel meet unless it was with someone I trusted. That's me as a single girl though |

I quite like hotel meets.
Sitting in the bar, the anticipation, will they/won't they show ?
They appear, the nervy greeting, having a drink, sizing each other up whilst chatting, wondering what they'll be like. A wee buzz from knowing nobody else knows what is going on.
Jeez, I'm getting all horny just thinking back to that.
