Near Edinburgh..

a few years back.. we would have travelled anywhere in the uk.. for a meet..

but now you have to factor in the hundred pound petrol money just to get there kinda thing...

We used to visit folks in wales and tbh we never really gave the travelling costs a thought !! it was more the driving time that was more a pain and off-putting..

The price of petrol is killing everything.. even swinging

First ever meet,, Aberdeen, 120miles, totally worth the journey!

Southampton too

As single guys, the fun wont come to you, you have to get a bit busy with it.

Scotland and beyond

Travelled to Stirling in the days I didn't drive, was well worth it though. Also dropped into deepest darkest Dumfries and Galloway for some couple fun. Most of my meets these days seem to be Killie or Glasgow, I did manage Manchester, but that was a bonus as I was there on business already.

I drive 40k a year for work so I don't think twice about jumping in a car and driving distances others may think excessive. Having said that, with planning I'd prefer to stop at a hotel nearby anyway.
