Blocking Does It Help

Iv been here on and off for about two years now, and never press that button. Iv had three no show,s timewasters as people call them, had some tiffs with people. But always try to work them out. Am I right or wrong or
silly to think I can work things out with people. I know really the timewasters should have been reported to help stop it happening again Do I look at thing with rose colour glasses. What do you,s do |

I think that sometimes, there are real genuine reasons for certain behaviours on here but when there isn't, then it's everyone's responsibility to report to admin.
Whether you choose to block the user after that is down to personal preference  |

I've had to block for various reasons... Namely stalkers, guys who won't accept my "thanks for the interest but no" replies and demand the reasons!!
Only got one or two on block list just now |

My block list gets longer and longer by the day. I'm here for fun, not hassle and some guys have so much baggage. I can't be bothered dealing with mine let along theirs.    |

I would like to answer if I may One time I waited out side a pub for a meet I phone a friend from here,to ask how long should I wait. She said for feck sake you waited long enuff And block and report I never ask that lady for the meet,she ask me But in the end it was my fault for letting her do that to me Yes I feel like fool. But iv only got myself to blame that why I did not block and report Should have reported myself for being a fool xxx |

From women never had one of them myself. Think we should worry more about all the really nasty messages women get on here. And it not banner some guys on here are scum in my eyes. And no means no just the same in the outside world. We men have no divine right to get a meet here And if we don't get our way then the woman become some fat cow you would not have shag any. I have had women crying on here becuase of it Some guys should hold their head in shame. What kind of people are to make a woman scared to leave there homes Then you wonder why I get passion about things That why. So next time you.get a no thanks walk away. And the lady does not become a slag just does not fancy you it happens live with it

Had to block people who essentially cant read, dont mean that in a nasty judgemental way, i mean it as in a damage limitation way, if im spending the time to explain things in perfectly constructed sentences, punctuated etc, and they for whatever reason are reading it wrongly, pre-judgmentally and assuming the worst within what i've written. Then its actually dangerous to keep on writing/explaining, best to clinically cut off for everyones sake. |

Totally agree with you some are just incapible of taking on board whats actually been said so best just to block so agree 100%   |

I don't think it was your fault she didn't turn up. You acted in good faith and she broke the trust between you. If she didn't have a good or valid reason then I'm sorry, it should have been report to admin time mate.

Not really When I go to meet I always tell a friend not who I am meeting or what kind of meet it to cover myself If as that girl said she was there So I did not fight about but I know and my friend knows I turn up Never miss a meet |

I only block the extremes or block people who block me. Sometimes, for me, I don't always block folk who seem a bit unbalanced or those I think that would bad-mouth me in their status bar or profile. It is an idea to keep an eye on some people who are likely to cause trouble.
Sometimes if rumours start, and are said so often enough, some people can be a bit gullible and believe something if it's said often enough. Rumours that are started just out of spite and have no truth in them at all.

On this profile and on our last profile we rarely blocked anyone......we just don't let people get to us as we realise that at the end of the day it's not serious life and when we close laptop bang they are gone.......
Think in all we only have a handful on block.....
One for constantly asking for meets behind ones back etc....the other for moaning too much in chat to the point it depressed us lol..... |

I use the block function a little differently. If I see a profile which specifically states a requirement that rules me out, I block them. It means they don't come up on searches or local updates and I don't waste my time looking at them or accidentally messaging them and wasting their time too. |
