"My profile probably goes against the grain a bit, at least for just now anyway, since I don't have any pics of my cock taken beside a tv remote or deodorant, and with no public pics on display (I've private pics). What I am looking for, just now, is mainly to get to know and chat to intelligent women and/or women who are decent. Not necessarily to always want to have sex 24/7 or pressure them for meets every time they are online. My contacts with intelligent females is the thing that I most value from fab. " Marilyn Monro (or Monroe to spell her name correctly) is often mentioned when I have made similar posts. Yes, she often played the role of a dumb blond in her films, but her own personal library at home contained a great deal of classic literature which was full of hand written markings. And her walls were full of original art works. Although she didn't really get the opportunity, much, she was still able to perform these difficult roles, from memory, on stage. I would say anyone who could read that, understand it, and then perform it from memory was clever. Being brought up in an orphanage, she was the American dream. She didn't rely on the bank of mum and dad to fund opportunities for her. So yes, she would pass my test, not that I have one. Not to mention the fact that she was still able to argue with her playwright husband, Arthur Miller, and to challenge him. I'm sure there has been lots of beautiful who have not made a living from their looks, but she did have some drive and ambition to become the highest paid actress in the world. Anyway, it's all fairly superfluous as she isn't on here. | |||

I never used the word 'academically' on my profile or in my posting. I am aware that it's often people who are supported by their parents and given opportunities that are able to achieve things academically. (And before anyone says anything, I know there are exceptions) People's social circumstances can be a real barrier with education. I'd never judge anyone. Someone could be self taught and have no qualifications, while someone who has been highly educated has not read a book since they graduated. As I say on my profile, I do look at the person holistically. Besides, it's not just smart women, but nice decent women too. | |||

Yep, some messages may have spelling errors, but we shouldn't assume that's down to someone being uneducated.
Some folks are dyslexic...their message would therefore not be a reliable indicator of either intelligence or education "Point taken, for me I don't assume anything. Some messages can have spelling errors, while some messages can be nothing but spelling errors or full of text speak. Messages can only be small part of it and some people can read between the lines and get a sense of someone's character by what they say on their profile, the company they keep or how they interact with me and others in the forums. | |||

It might be draining at times, but after a while I imagine it becomes easier to keep a dignified silence and delete. Not to be very polite and take the time to answer or argue, but just ignore. It must be beneficial to just delete mail without reading it, by seeing who it comes from or not answering it, and not feeling guilty about it. No point starting or continuing an argument with some people. Just ignore them and ignore their mail. | |||

Words ending in "ly" are known as weak adverbs and in almost all cases are irrelevant. They can be omitted from the sentence with out affecting the meaning. The implication is the same. And secondly yes I do think the first thing you think is are they intelligent or not. You judge that by the style, grammer and content of message.
