Just got my new car today been waiting 2 months for it and not kidding not even done 2 miles and its packed in already, anyone think a could get my money back lol xx |

Tell them it's not fit for purpose and you want it replaced with a new one and that you want a loan car in the meantime for free!!!
Not fit for purpose is the technical term for its a piece of shit - but it's also the correct term for cars

I am m8 had the mechanic out and he said it's a gasket head or something and it'll need a few days to fix it and I said I want a replacment car and he said he doesnt know I've recorded the whole convo speaking to the manager tomorrow |

I had this exact thing with arnold clark years ago and they were being total twats about it. Ended up with my money back and bought another elsewhere.

If its the head gasket - NO DEAL!!!!! It could have done more damage to the engine.
Call land rover first thing Monday morning and speak to them and tell Arnold shark it's not fit for purpose and you want a replacement!! |

I've got an i40 and it's been ok - year old and 30,000 miles. Only thing that's gone has been the reversing camera.
Huge in the back, I'm sure there's room to lie down and shag in it. Anybody want to help me find out?  |

Fuck Arnold Clark!! I work in the motor trade delivering new cars which includes work for jaguar land rover, don't deal with Arnold Clark go direct to Land Rover and they should deal with it. Heard a similar story about a range rover sport which was a week old and driver contacted jlr direct and they replaced the car the next day and with some hefty compo included.. Arnold Clark won't match that |

I agree, if mechanic says its a head gasket then as someone said earlier no telling what damage been done to the engine.. Personally speaking I'd get my money back and never buy a land rover.. Get the Hyundai Santa Fe, far superior car and cheaper to boot |

I work in dealership garage and this happens all the time... I bought brand new seat 13 plate on 1st march only done 200miles in it cause its been in the garage.... Still not got it back considering handing back or trading in |

Under tcs and cs you should have 14 days cool off/money back. Ive used this once before after buying my car and the following day it broke down. Tried to pull the wool over my eyes as i was female!!!! Doh, i love my cars and know how they work. They tried to fix it but it broke down so i told them where to shove it. Signed necessary paperwork ending contract and got a car that worked from another garage!
