I do have the option of working at the Edinburgh Tattoo, but I've always resisted it when I've been asked previously. Mainly because it doesn't really interest me that much and seems to be a thing that tourists would do. But with the nice weather, I am thinking of going and trying it out just to experience it.
Anyone else go or have any views on it?

Fantastic experience I've been part of the tattoo in separate years and doing it again next year when leading out the massed pipes &drums it's a real honour and experience but a lot of hard work lol |

I have been a few times through work, and while I can't stand all the wailing laments on the piping show on Radio Scotland, there is something about the massed bands, and the overseas performers can be quite phenomenal. (The Secret Drum Corps are just incredible!) Just make sure you wrap up well, it gets a tad nippy up on the rock! |
