Can see both sides of this one to be honest.
On the one hand if guys don't read a profile properly before sending mail then they can't complain about being ignored etc
On the other hand there are probably some single fems who have joined and suddenly find themselves getting a lot more attention than they've ever had in 'the real' world and get a little carried away by it all.
Thankfully we've never really had any problems but its probably a lot easier being a couple

Most people I would assume do not block without a good reason.
Some women might block, but then guys delete, rejoin and then deny or too stupid they forget having pestering the women previously.
People talk about problems just as part of an ordinary conversation.
My message to women who block, or who do not bkock: good luck to you and well done!
It must be draining for some of the 'better' women dealing with the Neanderthals. |

I very rarely use the block button, I usually just ignore anyone who hassles, annoys or is rude to me.
I'd never block all single guys as I hate doing the chasing, I'd much rather be chased. |

I block people but its pointless because guarentee'd in a weeks time they have got fed up, left and rejoined so they come back at you. You block them again and in a few days they appear again. I don't complain about it too much but it does get a bit samey when you get the same messages from the same users and when I say same messages I mean word for word the same lol
If they give abuse I just report although ive lost faith in the report system lately but not much else I can do. Just sit blocking and if needed reporting, wait for them to get banned and rejoin then repeat the process lol |

"Is it just me or do other people notice that a lot off the females on here seem to complain alot about the males here"
Actually, being someone who regularly reads forums, you dont really see that so often it's actually a lot of the men on here complain a lot about the females here and this is coming from the male half. |

If someone has blocked me they must have a reason (albeit unknown to me) however they still have a reason. So now if I discover I'm blocked I usually counter block & that saves any further issues. |

"Is it just me or do other people notice that a lot off the females on here seem to complain alot about the males here , where there is a block button for the purpose to stop them getting hassled from us males ( single , attached or married ) but they never seem to use it , so my theory is that if they blocked all mail from males and had to do the chasing it wouldn't be as enjoyable for them waking up in the morning with nothing to read in the mail box so ladies i'am sorry to say u cant have it both ways and if that bothered ( USE THE FECKING BUTTON THATS WHAT IT'S THERE FOR PLEASE ) "
Your last point, im sure many would prefer nowt to endless dross from insistant guys.
As for the idea that your telling women to use it, like its a handy tip, most are well aware of the option,,lol.

I use the block button for abusive people, and people that have stated they're not interested in us. That way we won't accidentally message them again.
I have had one incident of blocking a guy (not abusive in any respect, just wouldn't take no for an answer) who then created another profile to ask my why I'd blocked him |

I get the logic behind it, but here's a thing.
I been to meets where folks have realised they opted to block each other for whatever reason and guess what?
Had a great old time actually meeting, talking , being in each others company. |

Even though we're not looking for single guys we don't filter them out. We do block them if they send a message asking to meet, as they clearly haven't read the profile, but if it's a message about something else or sending a compliment then we tend to reply.

In a crisp poke on the A814 |
The OP isnt talking about blocking individuals....
He talking about blocking ALL single men through message filters and doing the leg work yourself....
Far too many women on here will happily just wait for men to mail them....then complain about it
And far too many women wouldnt dream of making the initial contact |

I think some just love the weird little power vibe it gives them, funny been blocked a few times and one a few mins ago as I joked around regarding my race , which I think shows huge self confidence but she/they got offended and blocked me which I found funny to be honest ! |
