Well the weather is DIRE considering it's the middle of May & it won't be long till we're at the Summer Solstice & heading to the darker nights.
I often hear folk say the remember long hot summers in the UK which certainly I share memories of better weather than recent years where summer seems to be over in a couple of exceptional days or a few weeks.
However, to combat our pissy weather I thought I'd make a Playlist with songs that were hits during April - September & evoked memories of a great summer. I've started with 70s but intend to create Playlists from other decades too.
So what tunes should be included in the ultimate summer Playlist that make you think of hot balmy days?

I knew that 70s Summer Playlist would bring the sun out today.
If I could remember the 80s & 90s I might make a playlist for those decades too - but I was kinda wrecked for most of em. |
