I do like BBC1s "Pointless" even tho they're currently showing repeats. It's good fun trying to think of the less obvious or popular answers. I notice the format has changed a little but not so much that it stops me viewing. Sure, it's formulaic & is in fact pretty pointless but I still I think it's enjoyable to play along. The host even says pretty much the same thing in every show to every set of contestants but somehow I overlook that familiarity & repetitive aspect & still tune in. Sometimes I do learn things from it & other times I surprise myself by already knowing the answers - including the pointless ones.
So what shows (quiz shows or otherwise) keep you hooked? |

The best quiz show ever was 'Fifteen to One'. No messing about, just loads of questions from start to finish, and contestants with a brain in their head, unlike contestants in many shows these days, most of whom are as thick as whale omelette! |

No, the best quiz show was Going For Gold.
As Henry Kelly often said......being with C...What am I? |
