I'm not inviting folk. I'm just asking if theres any interest in it. I'm not even saying I'm hosting. Im just saying ive been to a few socials and it seemed to me a mostly older age bracket and is there any interest in a social just for a younger age bracket. if there was well we could think about it from there |

i know a few people who would be interested that are on here but just wondering if any real volumes of folk.
i mean no point even considering throwing the wildest party of all time if theres only about 4 or 5 people wanting it. |

Please don't think I'm being cheeky, I'm genuinely not meaning to sound that. Did you go to the Edinburgh Social to show your support?
Regarding advice... My advice would be get involved. The only way these things happen is when someone takes up the initiative, grabs it by the reigns & runs with it. There are some very good Socials in Ayrshire (& Glasgow) & the event Organisers may be willing to help. If it's something different to what is already on offer then someone needs to take ownership & sort it out. However, I don't see any Social Organiser deliberately excluding folk in a particular age group - so my question would be why does the age group not already attend the current Socials? |

Similarly this old codger can show some of the younger generation some manners. Thankfully, the Organisers of the Edinburgh Social were polite, respectful & enjoyed the fact that some old codgers supported their successful first Social where everyone was made to feel welcome regardless.  |

Once you get past 40 it starts to put me off the best I ever had was 19. or maybe the 27 year old. both were pretty good and happy to take whatever i wanted as often and and long as I wanted. |

I've not met anyone off here in a while, some were really nice and i had a lot of fun, some were bonkers but I i've friends who are on here too.
who knows what the future holds i've got a few ideas I talk about with friends that are tempting but nothing definite yet. |

None of what I said was directed at anyone.
Nothing was intended to be insulting. The only intention was to convey that I prefer younger women and have found that any socials I have attended seem to have been dominated by a 40+ age bracket, with the odd exception.
I do have a habit of being rather blunt with my choice of words though so I'm sorry if anyone has been offended by what I said. I didn't mean anything by it |
