I’m guessing motorbike … but define northern, Inverness is north , done it a fair bit , but . If you’re talking NC 500 route that ls a long way from Hastings but worth it 
Was out on mine at weekend and it was warm enough but could easily snow next few weeks 🤷♂️ that’s the beauty of a Scotland 
I’d be picking anything between later May - Aug but it’ll be busy …. Or just say fuck it and go whenever . I’m heading to the one of the islands start of May , might be wet , might not , but the scenery makes up for that … |

Usually May. Weather can be fantastic and midges are usually less active. I have done cycle tours around northern scotland in August though she had great weather and few midges as bright sun and a breeze can keep them away.... Could be hot though. |
