I'm thinking Johnny Depp for shear variety...
Al Pacino for intensity.
Tom Hanks for versatility.
Robert Downey Jnr for still being alive!
Robert De Niro for the scope of his work..(Raging Bull, Taxi Driver, Deer Hunter...)
Daniel Day Lewis for his ability...
Morgan Freeman for his voice and presence......
....and Ryan Gosling....well....we girls know...

What about jack Nicholson and tom cruise in a few good men or kevin costner in dances with wolves (same story line as avatar) or wyatt earp or the one everyone misses out tom hanks? Forest gump /big/castaway etc etc |

Nic cage has made some great movies but hes hardly a great actor lol bobby de niro learnt flemish for tge film the mission and got to world class fencing standard and gained forty pounds for untouchables now thats a great actor. |

Philip Seymour Hoffman in Charlie wilsons war with Tom Hanks.
Pacino and Deniro in Heat were awsome.
Sean Penn in Mystic River.
Demi Moore mastering the pole in Striptease was fantastic too. |
