We won but wasn't the best performance, if the want to compete with Ireland next weekend then they neep a large step up. Italy did do well though.

We weren’t at our best and should have had the bonus point before half time

Italy showed they’ve improved ,

We need a flawless performance to stand a chance on Sunday against Ireland

Agree with all the comments - not the slickest of starts but it was a BP win, scoring 5 tries when not anywhere near our best.

Ireland were distinctly average 1st half v England and won’t be relishing their visit to Murrayfield this weekend.

Should be a cracker.
