Well we had the seventies, eighties, nineties and of course the naughties (noughties)
but what will this decade be called?
can't be the tennies as that sounds like a shortened name for a pack of tena lady pads!

Decade is a strange word in itself.
when written it seems innocious, but when you say it, it sounds like a benefit concert where celebrities and popstars attend to raise money for more dicks for the third world?
Therefore im sure that Paris Hilton, Pamela Anderson and all the other celebs with the dubious leaked sex tapes would be top of the guest list

Well under trades descriptions it cannot become the teenies for the first 3 years.
After much deliberation I have decided I am going to go with
'The decade between the naughties and twenties that we couldnt quite work out what to call as there was nothing that wasn't either pants or sounded just rude.'
Kinda rolls of the tongue eh? |
