They charge a fortune , its such an easy job if you put your mind to it .
and so simple depending on the extent of the blown over.
if the posts have blown over , hence the fence has gone over to thats like good news.
remove the panels and posts , your holes are already dug, so new post , ready mixed quick drying fence concrete(comes in a bag) and a spirit level..position post and pour in concrete mix.
you can use a length of baton cut to size of a fence panel to measure the position of the next post...so on and so forth (errors can always be rectified using baton to hold the panel in place )
most builders merchants deliver for free so buy the materials on line , also saving you a fortune.
old fence ? have a bonfire or give the dustmen 20quid , they'll sling it on the truck if its on ya driveway |

Through an estate agent friend, I know a good fencer, who lives in Livingston.
He replaced a section of fencing for me at a very good price. Neighbours also used him.
Fence is 2m high, it's getting blasted with the full force of today's wind and it's rock solid. |

Fencing is not itself a difficult task…..IF you are confident in your skills and ability to learn how to do it correctly. A badly erected fence looks shite and doesn’t last….
Definitely give it a go, but don’t feel bad if you’d rather get tradesmen in …. |
