Couples profiles that turn out to be single men?

Had a lot of so called"couples" profiles on here contact us. We arrange to meet and then at the last moment we get told things like "my Mrs can't make but I can still come" or "my mrs only likes black men".
Yet their couples profiles have reviews and pictures of both of them!
Anyone had similar issues? |

I get sent messages a lot from “couples” where it’s apparently the Mrs and she really wants to send the Mr out to me to do what I want with him. One night I replied to one would he come and cut the grass and paint the fence. Not sure that’s what he/she had in mind
Either that or it’s just the Mr that wants to play but apparently she’s all for it  |

Very familiar and widespread problem - "Oh my missus had to go in to work, but I'm here now anyway" lol
We're trying a different way of filtering: on as single male, but explaining in the profile that we can be available as a couple. It's almost certainly over-filtering, but it'll be interesting to see if it works. |

having been on and off here for 8 years and other sites
50% of couples profiles are not legit, not active or at times images shared without wife’s permission to garner attention and traction.
It’s why video calls and socials are key. |

I've been caught out a few times, hence why no face pics.
Don't understand why a bloke would get off on doing it, tbf though there are some strange people out there. Even following the veris isn't an indicator, as some have multiple profiles all verify each other as real.
