Got a day off tomorrow, wanna see someplace new. What's your favourite day trip from Glasgow? Preferably something accessible by train. I'm up for anything.

Near Glasgow

Perfect time of year for a wee trip to Largs to sit and watch the Millport ferry coming and going while eating a pokey hat

However the west highland line has some spectacular scenery, so Oban/Fort William/Mallaig could be options
