Maybe try clearing you internet browsing history and the catche. Should quicken it up. Might be u need to save pics to a portable hard drive. U should be able to check the disk space used on it |

"Download CCleaner and run that. It should clear all the unnecessary crap - temp files etc"
I've got that and it does an automatic clean weekly. Time to dig out the mem stick methinks.
Thank you |

Buroo....after the damage you done to the biscuit barrel, you are getting nowhere near my private pics and vids. Plus the fact you would probably need therapy after looking at them and I'm not paying for that!!! |

CCleaner normally does a good job.. have a look at whats running (withing CCleaner) as if you have loads running it will zap the RAM and make the system run slow..
depending on the version of CCleaner from the left hand side select tools then start up and have a look how many hings are listed under windows .... the more there are in there the slower it will run.. |

"Do you free up disk space often?
Could be something really simple..."
Fuck me... thought there would be something sarky, lol
Yes, I do. Don't have much saved except pics and vids. Thought it might have been the broadband strength but phone and other pc are running quicker. |

You can back up all your data onto external storage, not sure what operating system you are using but assuming its windows 7 go to computer C: users "username" and copy that entire folder over onto your removable storage.
When you reinstall windows create your account with the same name as before, login, follow the path to your username, open the folder, delete the contents. Then just copy all your old data from within your original profile into your new user account folder.
You probably will need to make a new admin account to do this though. That is very straight forward just google it.
Hope this helps, I know it looks like a lot to do but its actually very simple.
