Apparently Glasgow has improved dramatically over the last 5 years but still tops the table as the least peaceful place in the UK followed by London and Belfast.
In Scotland the table is as follows
Least peaceful
Glasgow City
West Dunbartonshire
Renfrewshire
North Ayrshire
Inverclyde
Most peaceful
Orkney Islands
Aberdeenshire
Moray
Shetland Islands
Dumfries & Galloway

Have always felt safe when in Glasgow City Centre at night, no matter how late..."
Same for us have never felt unsafe on nites out in glasgow,unlike paisley or greenock and thats not a slur on these places just that we have seen lots of trouble there. |

Mrs Jimp1 comes from Budapest where we have spent many enjoyable evenings without encountering the least hint of trouble.
On our first visit to Glasgow to show her my home town we were attacked in Buchanan Street bus station.
I was deeply ashamed of my home city. Bad luck I suppose but.... |
