House Warming Party - 11 May - New Thread

The original thread reached its maximum so we need to start a new one. Here is the original post:
We were on a break due to family circumstances and would like to mark our return with a house warming party since we have just moved into a new house which is great for parties.
To cater for everyone, we would like to have a balanced mix of couples and singles of all sexual orientations and combinations.
We are restricting the number to a maximum of 40 people and only those who will receive a confirmed invitation may attend. If you wish to join us, please post your message up here and we would confirm to you if you make the guest list.
For those who like to sleep over, we could possibly accommodate up to 8 people on beds and sofas. We do however have ample space for people who may want to put down a sleeping bag indoors or even a tent outdoors. If you wish to do so then feel free to bring your sleeping bag or tent.
We have a large hot tub indoors and will be in operation at the party. If you wish to go in it or join the fun around it then bring your own towels. If you prefer not to go in it in the nude then also bring your bikini or shorts with you.
There will be party food and snacks available but if you wish to contribute by bringing something with you to show your cooking skills then that would be much appreciated. There will also be a variety of soft drinks available but you need to bring your own alcoholic drinks.
We are looking for someone with a karaoke machine with a good selection of party songs and can DJ for the party.
There is also a home cinema in operation in the social area during breaks from the karaoke so if you have any interesting DVD’s to watch then please bring us some.
We are also looking for 2 volunteers to offer their services as maids/butlers and one as a doorman/bouncer.
We are looking forward to your posts and messages and to meet up again with old friends as well as meeting new ones and having a great party.

hi there as i never attended a house party and this sounds very ineresting i would like to attend although i do know that us males are surplus to requirement if you messge back i will of course post back pics i scrub up quite well lol  |

Actually you are wrong about single males are surplus to requirement. We want the right mix for the party and we will invite a number of single males after giving everyone interested the chance to put their names up then we make our selection in due course. |

Even if we invite someone and find that information at a later date, our invitation will be withdrawn and the person will not be allowed through the door or even be told to leave if the info becomes available at the party itself.
We would therefore ask anyone in that category not to apply and if invited to remove himself/herself gracefully. Thank you.

Baby girl we thought we would stop at 50 but the waiting list kept growing so we added another 10 to the main list From past experience, we are expecting about 50 give or take a couple |

Hi peeps,
A was just wanting to post what are peoples travel arrangments for the party (the ones who are lucky enough to be invited), we could save the ozone layer and car share or jump on the train with a family pass lol, or just meet in town few drinks then taxi! anyway just a thought xx |
