Morning all
I don't know if anyone remembers lol but I was part of the Liberty Edinburgh team. We ran a few events, club nights and socials.
We're going to have another wee social, but I just wanted to check where and what we're allowed to post about it because I know all the rules have changed!
Obviously I'll add it to the events section and put a wee note on my profile and the club profile but do any listings with information now have to go in the other UK forum? Or are we still allowed to post here?
It's a little confusing as I still see some events mentioned on the Scottish forum.
If anyone could help a gal out I'd appreciate the information.
Thanks xx |

Hi folks, socials and events are fine to be advertised on the Scottish forums by the organisers. If someone posts a ‘who is going’ the mods will punt it into a different section.
Assuming the social isn’t hosted in the club it used to be hosted in, you’ll be fine to advertise on fab. But if it’s the venue the events were held in, it’s my understanding that all matters related to this are not allowed on fab.
Sorry for the vague posting, but hopefully this makes sense and helps you out |

Short version....
Clubs can promote themselves in Scottish Forum.
Social and private events can promote in Scottish Forum.
Everything else ie who's going, I ain't club owner or host but this club is having blah blah gets kicked to abyss of amongst entirety of UK.
Hopefully that completes the picture for you amongst above posters.
Good luck with your events, will keep an eye open. |
