My mate phoned me to see if I was up for a skiing trip after new year. I ski but only been in Scotland apart from one trip to Austria, which wasn't the best for me as I was a newbie. He informed me it maybe Switzerland.
I used to frequent The Lecht but have done the Cairngorms, Glencoe and Glenshee.
So folks, for the skiers, do you ski at home or abroad and where do you normally go? |

I’ve skied 3 Valleys in France, Chamonix, Courmayer in Italy but nothing beats La Plagne for me 🥰 been so many times, has something for every level of skier, it’s my happy place x
Let me know if you need any more info 😁 |

My mate who asked me is a ski instructor and been all over skiing so if it works out that I manage to go then I’m sure it will be a blast |

I've skied in a few different countries, both downhill and cross country, never had a bad trip but my favourite is Austria, plenty of variety of resorts with various difficulty levels, customer service is usually spot on, good beer and the cherry on the cake is awesome naked sauna, many hotels and pensions have them as do the local swimming pool where often there's a "sauna world" with half a dozen or more saunas to choose from. I've booked a week XC skiing in Kossen next year. |
