I’d take being cuffed, but not sure about doing the dating stuff again.

Yeah a cuffed ear by mammy was usually a sore one but as Sassy says;

Defined as the time of year when single people actively search for short-term romantic partners to spend the colder months with, typically from October through March.

Cuffed sounds a good name for it so I'll go with that, unless any of us can think of a more appt name

Absolutely not. I have so many plans, have no time to be picking up a plus one to have to consider. Wouldn’t want to have to buy extra Christmas presents either, and knowing my luck they’d have a winter birthday too

In the winter and make it clear to the cuff you only receive presents 😜

Next years birthday ends in a zero, so it’s a whole year of celebrations, never mind a month. Anyone sees me being extravagant or reckless, I have an excuse and I will be using it liberally

Quite right. I'm doing the same this year for a 0 birthday. It's been fun so far.

I could be tempted but to be honest dating is like food shopping for me. I know what I should be looking for but I'm often tempted by something delicious and bad for me instead.

However I've never been kissed under the mistletoe or at the stroke of midnight on new years eve. I'd really like to be.

Hahahaha I've never heard this term in relation to this.

For me cuffed is

- being thrashed at football

- be jailed by the polis

Cuffing sounds ideal. Hopefully find a playmate which will mean neither of us needs to go out in the cold.
