Does body type massively matter to you when it comes to meeting with a guy?
Basically I'm just super self conscious about having a lil bit of extra weight. Nothing bad but just not happy with it really. To the point messaging any women on here just kinda seems too intimidating considering how many guys they'll have messaging constantly. |

I'm sure you have body type preferences too. |

I personally prefer a dad-bod. Maybe pop a body pic up to give people an idea of your body type then they can make their own decisions and don’t even mention it.
I’ll bet that they wouldn’t even think of it until you mentioned it!
We all have different people and things we are attracted to but I do get the confidence issue but we all struggle from time to time and most just hide it well!

I agree with BC, make sure you have a full body picture on your profile so people can instantly see for themselves and it saves an awkward conversation. It's precisely the reason I have those photos on my profile, you want people to know the full story before they commit to chatting. Body type doesn't bother me but my husband is athletic and muscular and he's 110% my type so while it might not bother me, I absolutely do have a preference 😘😘 |

I'm less about body shape more about faces and if I connect with someone. That being said maybe work on your confidence? Your saying you'd find it intimidating messaging and that your super self conscious. If you don't want to post body photos on your main page maybe try friends only if that feels better. But only if you want to and when your ready. Maybe take a step back from fab if it is affecting your confidence overall. |

"Everyone has preferences but for me personally its more about the person so its conversation, how they hold themselves and can they enjoy the interaction."
Fuck that. If Susan Boyle came over with a pint for me, spoke about rugby, 'held herself' well I wouldn't touch her with yours.
Attraction of the face for me. Body types don't matter so much. Small, tall, slim, bigger. Pretty face wins hands down. |

For me its based on attraction , attractions a multifaceted thing ,sexual attraction + chemistry + humour + presence..
All these build for an amazing meet, i really dont see the point in meeting someone Im not into too as attractions key too me .
I do have preferences but all too often its seen as a negative on here , its part of life we have preferences for everything food, drink , music , what we watch , who we choose to spend our time with shouldn't be any different x |

Fuck what people say. Stick to your preferences. It's you that has to fuck the person you want to, not them.
Applying more preferences just ekes out more people, but the ones that are left are hopefully worth it.
You'll probably find the ones that are critical of this and see it as a negative are either ugly, themselves or would fuck anything (or both), probably haven't had sex or even a meet. |
