Serious question.

I love giving a girl Oral Sex. Probably have more oral sex than I do penetrative sex.

Throat cancer in men is on the rise and research suggests it’s because increase preference in Oral Sex and HPV.

Have any other men thought about this or ever thought about getting vaccinated?

Sorry for the serious question but I’m really curious about it.

Happy Fabbing!

Sadly HPV is on the rise, especially in adolescents who are at the stage of “trying things out”, but it still affecting the wider community also.

In terms of the vaccine, it’s the same with any others, it has been tested and is proven to be effective so it’s a case of “risk v benefit”, and is your own personal choice as an adult, as adolescents what they require is more education surrounding the subject prior to reaching that stage of maturity.

The next time you go for your sexual health screening, it's definitely worth bringing up with the nurse; but as far as I am aware, the HPV vaccine has to be administered privately for men. I have no clue about the cost, but I'm sure the sexual health nurse will be able to point you in the right direction.

For women who didn't receive the vaccinations at school age, you can receive it up to the age of 45 (I think), if you speak to your sexual health nurse, or GP, about it. It's something I've never asked about, so I have no first hand experience of it, but I'm sure others will and might be able to comment x

I know the injection is free for under 25 and I'm sure I was told by my nurse anyone above that age would have to pay. It's not cheap either
