Whats the best websites for buying a 2nd hand car.

Autotrader, it's the go to website for the trade and private sales

I hate the car buying process. Getting a Tesla was a breath of fresh air, no haggling, no "I'll need to speak to my manager" patter.

Slimy car salespeople just make the entire process feel horrible.

I suppose it all really depends on what you’re looking for from the car?

Is it to be practical? Try autotrader, gumtree

Is it to be a bit of fun? Try pistonheads, car & classic, and auto trader.

Generally you can always find what you want anywhere, but all depends if you want to deal with the motor trade or a private seller. As well as are you trading in a car or buying outright or finance required? So many questions that it takes a few questions to narrow down what you’re after.

Cars are consistently cheaper in England. Travelled to Hull to pick up my latest car, at least £1000 cheaper than anywhere north of the border.....bit like alcohol too, worth bringing a boot load back with you. Even more so next month at 65p per unit!

I bought my car, the wife's and both my daughters cars from down south, saved a fair wee packet.

I certainly wouldn't buy a car from arnold clark
