I find David Lloyd a bit pricey although it’s probably the best with all the facilities.
Nuffield in Finnieston is a good balance of modern and reasonably priced. Bannatynes at Stepps is very good, well priced and quiet. A bit more aged than Nuffield if you are looking for a modern feel although they are replacing equipment fairly regularly. |

Generally I prefer the quiet ones though.
Bannatyne I have found quite bad for groups of people just standing around chatting. Especially the swimming pool and spa. |

I joined David Lloyds at the beginning of summer on their 3 month plan as a treat because I wasn’t going way. It’s definitely pricey but I do love the spa after a work out. Cafes not bad as well. |

Nothing worse than going and the place is full ..esp people on their phones instead of doing a workout
