Movies you've never seen
Jump to: Newest in thread
I've been introducing J to a whole bunch of movies she has never seen, inclluding this week, the Crow, Cabaret, Bound, Texas chainsaw massacre
What films have you never seen but want to see or think you should have seen but just never got round to ? |

"I’m not big on watching movies,
There are probably a lot of popular ones that I’ve never watched
Game of Thrones, although is that not a series.
"
GoT is over rated tbh, it couldnt maintain its intensiry, many more recent shows are the same IMO
Not bad shows but the hype around so many of them fails to deliver |

Think there must be quite a lot of people on here who haven’t seen ‘Porky’s’. The movie. Made in 1981, some of it is funny as feck and think many would get a good giggle from it, even today |

Well he does look snazzy in a suit, maybe just fast forward to those bits |

Great movies in your op!
Mine are probably :
Lost boys (there’s a particular fab friend SHOCKED I’ve not seen this given my taste in tv and movies)
Pirates of the Caribbean
Citizen Kane
12 angry men (that one’s driving my cousin nuts!)
Amelie
Brokeback mountain
A quiet place (this one shocks people as I’m a big horror fan)
Likewise Get Out
Moonlight
Whiplash
Schindlers list
Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind
Matrix films
Lady Bird
LOVE mission impossible series, big Tom cruise fan
James Bond with Daniel Craig are ace, if you’ve read the books, I’d say he’s closest to the book bond actually
Porkys is an ACE movie watched it way too young LOL
I’ve seen the old Planet of the apes films but not the new ones yet
Godfather movies are INCREDIBLE! highly recommend. |

I'vve not seen a lot of the well-known or overly-hyped films.
Never seen any of the Godfather films for instance.
Not seen any of the newer Star Wars films.
Probably loads of others, but if you mention a 3rd-rate Z-Lister film, I've probably seen it.

I got slagged recently for not having seen a number of classic films. Mostly gangster type ones which I will try and watch at some point. The do feel like I have missed out on some important ones though |

Don’t really think there’s a movie that I haven’t seen that I should.
I think some movies that I have seen that if you haven’t seen it then I believe your missing out.
Event Horizon. (1997). One of the scariest movies out there for it’s time and still relevant today
Spy Game (2001). A superb action thriller that has a few twists
Life is Beautiful (1997). Amazing movie in nazi occupied Italy about a Jewish father using all means to hide his son during the anti Semitic experience in a concentration camp.
So many more but those 3 I’d expect most to have watched

Get yourself to the GFT (on christmas eve, if you can, brilliant atmosphere) they usually screen it each day for around a fortnight before christmas |

Fair comment - though seriously how?! Although it’s a film I cannot stand! Not a Capra fan. But it’s one of those films most have seen at some point and you being. Film buff I thought you’d have seen it. |

It’s fun introducing a partner to new films and embracing some of their choices too. We’ve been watching some old Hitchcock classics and even Chaplin’s The Kid.
Went to see Cabaret at the weekend and saw The Red Shoes a while ago. |

Hitch is a master, Chaplin under rated as a writer and director IMO most people just know the little tramp character.
The red shoes is a beautiful film, pretty sure I have it on DVD so going on the list for J
Its one of those films that has been inspirational to many legendary film makers, without it there would be no American in Paris, Scorsese is also a big fan, you can see how it has influenced him in films like goodfellas |
