Is it best to get a joiner to fit new windows or a window fitting company?

If you can find a joiner with a good reputation he may be better.

The problem with big window firms is you'll get a mix of experience and abilities.

You council website may have a "trusted traders" section to help you find reliable good quality people.

Best of luck my good friends xx

It depends on the sort of windows you are after. Just normal, sash and case etc

Joiner 100%.

Window fitting firms will just fit the window of course but they won’t do as tidy a job as joiner when it comes to the internal/external trims and finishing.

Tried to DM you but it won’t let me. Drop me a message if you want more info. We are a joinery firm in central Scotland.

outside your bedroom window ;-)

All depends on both, generally though locally there will be trades place most of the self employed people use to advertise their work.

Completely unhelpful thread from me, I know
