Should we be on a dating site?

Hi everyone,
We're a friendly couple who have been part of the Fab community for several years, attending various socials and clubs and meeting some wonderful people along the way. Recently, we've realized that what we really want is to build a small, close-knit circle of friends. Ideally, we’re looking for one male, one female, and another nice couple who share our desire for a more intimate and consistent group to have fun with.
We often find ourselves hesitant when we see profiles with numerous verifications and frequent new meetups. While we completely understand and respect that Fab is a swinging site and everyone enjoys it in their own way, we're curious if there are others out there who share our preference for a more stable and selective circle of friends.

Most of the woman I had been seeing where from a dating site. It’s just finding the right people, you can soon work out the people who want no strings attached meets and on the other hand you get the ones who constantly message you I just avoid these ones. Hope this helps. |

Lots of couples on here are looking for the same thing. It's just finding the people who are right for you. I can't see dating sites been more successful

On a certain dating site, I've seen the woman from couples on here, and in their profile they admit they're looking for a 3rd.
So there is a little bit of crossover.
The one I used and left, may be what you're looking for. I obviously can't name nor link to it, but their tag-line is "The Dating App for Open-Minded Individuals"

The known swinging dating app maybe.
General dating sites no. It's not the vibe really. Though some have looking for friends only options which might help you to find like minded people.
But honestly, plenty of us find this kind of set up from just being active on the swinging scene. Going to socials, clubs etc. You soon make friends and find your people. You'll then most likely regularly meet up with them socially or sexually.
I haven't been verified in a long time because I tend to meet the same friends I've made over the years.

You can find what you are looking for on both, the only difference is that nobody puts up verifications on a dating site so you don't know what people are up to outside meeting you.
We attend clubs and socials and will often get multiple verifications in one weekend but in reality we tend to meet for play with a small trusted circle of people. We hope you find what you are looking for x |

I hope you can find what you are looking for on fab, because I am looking for much the same thing myself.
For some reason I thought it would have been easier for couples. I tried normal dating sites and had no luck. The problem was, when do you bring up the subject of kinks etc.
I will keep my fingers crossed for us all. |

I have made amazing friends along my journey on here, we do normal vanilla things, along with weekends away and I value these people greatly. Everyone should have a group of "close" friends they can rely on  |

Socials for me have been the best way of meeting people for that sort of thing.
I think alot of us singles and couples are looking for similar regarding friends etc.
Don't know about dating sites. Don't use them.

I think socials is definitely the way to go. You get to meet people face to face in a group setting. Let's you size them up much better than a quick coffee meet.
Also think most people are looking for a small group of core friends it's just finding the right ones. Good luck |

Totally agree - the site used to be about meeting people and making friends, but now seems to be about quick sex or scoring drugs.
It would be lovely to meet some genuine people who wanted to build friendships as well as the physical side of things, but even setting up a simple social meet seems to be extremely difficult on here these days! |

Sounds like you're looking for an open poly dynamic bringing together friendship and sexual encounters with one or two regular individuals.
Perhaps searching for poly groups and socials would be the way forward rather than FAB or dating sites.  |
