"buy a map, that should help you if you get lost... ha ha... Silly comment... "
I'm hoping the reference to "silly comment" was about yours.
From what I understood from the OP, he was looking for recommendations or suggestions of "evening life" or places to visit. |

I do Tenerife 3 times a year on my own.
Plenty decent bars during the day and evenings.
Decent restaurants.
Prices are way lower than Scotland.
Stay in either Americas or Adeje - and pick a decent hotel - IHG or Melia websites.
Avoid the loud rip off bars in the evening where drink prices are unpredictable - or not the proper spirits - do not leave your drink on its own ever - possible spiking issues last trip. |

"Find a good restaurant buy a good book and enjoy the peace and quiet. Anything else that comes along is a bonus x"
This, 100%. Going for a drink in a bar with tables outside I always ended up chatting to people.
But the best part is having time to yourself to do absolutely nothing. Head buried in a book, only speaking to say yes please to a refill
My first solo holiday last year, I’d never been so relaxed. Met lots of people and was apprehensive too, but just looked up places with stuff on, chose where I’d eat and left the rest to fate.
I’ve been on three short trips since lol |
