If you could bring back something from years gone by what would it be ...
Mines would be woolworths , for the pic n mix freebies (one for the bag one for me ) not that I endorse casual shoplifting ...
.. and Our Price Records , where you could fo in listen to the latest choons on the headsets while swatching the pretty boys |

I'd brig back the days where people weren't so offended by everything and there wasn't labels for every sexuall preference and pronouns for every one. The days when all you had to be was a decent human being and not a cunt. I miss the 80s and 90s |

Maybe that's why we don't have woolworths any more OP lol
I miss having busy pubs and clubs, people actually talking instead of being on their phones and taking selfies 24/7.
Being able to fill the car with petrol without needing a bank loan.
Proper sized chocolate bars I definitely miss.
And don't get me started on all these snowflakes that get upset if you don't bend over backwards and respect their sexuality, whatever it is this week! Rant over. |

Hmm in addition to manners, common sense and similar.
From this thread I could see someone setting up youth clubs but for adults would be onto a winner!
One I went to had one room was the disco (blacked out for night time effect even though it was a Saturday afternoon, I know a lot of adults would love to party in daytime, go home on train/bus and get to sleep at a decent time )
The other room had a tuck shop (stock it with the retro sweets and drinks) pool table, tv, board games, cards, dominos etc
On the wall outside was a basketball hoop and kids would have knockabout games of footy with sweaters as goal posts. |

Mmm so much to choose from.
It would need to be the Ford "car that has the same name as a lady of thebnight" XR3i. Fantastic car an a pulling magnet for 17year old me.
It won't let me write 35cort. |

Being a child from the 80’s and being out all day in the summer til dark, I’d say bring back coming home and having your tea sitting cold with another plate on top!!!! God those were the days life was a shit tonne simpler and andamn site more enjoyable! |

As a kid growing up there was a shop in EK shopping centre Electronic Boutique, was a great place for games and would always have a good few machines set up to play anything new that was coming in. Would spend the afternoon there when the folks were off shopping |

Blockbuster don’t get me wrong I love Netflix etc but I loved a wee trip to blockbuster at the weekend wondering if the movie you wanted would already be sold out so you’d have to scan the back of 50 other dvds to find something to watch
Oh and top of the pops loved it! |

Oh and top of the pops loved it! " back when it was tapes, the absolute thrill of there being a latest release on the shelf was often destroyed when the shop staff asked of you knew it was Betamax… |
