Right I know verification questions get asked a lot but wondered what people's thoughts are.
What do you class as out of date verifications? If a profile has no verifications but been on the site sometime would you still meet? How long (in your opinion) is too long without a verification to consider a meet?
I admit I do look for verifications if they have been on the site a while but at the same time I take them with a pinch of salt as everybody is different. What works for one doesn't always work for another and all that. I just like to see they have met and are genuine, another part of the screening process I suppose. |

Different strokes for different folks. An old Veri might show they've met someone in the past. It might be old because they don't meet often as they're selective, or the could be complete minders (so I check those people who have Veried if they have pics).
It could be that they don't bother so much about Veris now as they could end up with a Profile longer than War & Peace, or some might take it they are total slappers & shag anything that moves.
Everyone has a different way & thinking about displaying Veris.
If you're unsure - Dont meet. If you think they are right for you - Meet. |

I think that's good advice. It's not what others make of it it's what you make of it. You may find someone really rocks your world but hasn't got any veris and vice versa so go with what's right for you, be safe and have fun |

My experience is that members without verifications never reply even to say no thanks. So I now assume that no verifications indicates a time waster. I could be very wrong and realise that we all have to start somewhere, just stating my experience. |

Some people dont show all their verifications, some dont show any at all, then you might have folk who've had verifications but the person/people who gave them have left the site so although the green tick stays the veri goes with them.
I always am suspicious of people who've been on over a year but dont even have the veri tick, to me that kinda says something.
When it comes to old veris i'll give the benefit of the doubt, for instance i've a social meet arranged tomorrow evening with a couple who's only veri is 3 years old...whether they'll turn up or not only time will tell. |

"Will be interested to find out if they turn up. Im sure they won't. Good luck in any case."
I'm not overly confident myself that they will, it's just a quick couple of drinks-if they dont it's their loss and i'll just get to the munch a bit earlier...where i'm maybe meeting another fabber if she goes. |

"I love it when they say 'Fucks / Sucks like a Pro' I'd like to find out what a pro does differently.
is it not a dyson...lol "
There is much more than a Dyson to it. Perhaps you need to show me sometime. |

Don't know if this helps, but my last veri was from almost a year ago, and that's down to not having met anyone since then. I've either been too busy or when I have been free I've not been able to arrange a meet. So I'd say read veri's but don't judge because they are old, it could be for any reason. |
