What you are describing is a dressing service.
I am unaware of any facilities in Edinburgh. Others might know better than me.
If you are looking for someone to take their hard earned clothing collection and slap it on you. Highly unlikely anyone will do that.

Would you let someone wear your clothes?!? Most likely not so you see were I am coming from.
But, different tack - Crossdressers love shopping!! Oh do we love shopping.
You might want to explore shopping with a cross dressing lady as an alternative. Maybe go to some charity shops together, talk about what you might want to try or what look appeals to you.
Many will give you dressing and sizing advice. Then you can go and try on the items you've bought at your leisure or perhaps with assistance from your shopping buddy.
