Does cyber bullying exist on Fab? Have you experienced it, how has it impacted on your life? Please remember that you must not name names, or point fingers. This is a general question, with no need for specific details xx

Just a veiled comment on a thread about a comment I had made. I just smiled - the Neanderthal's comment was exactly the type of comment that exemplified the point I wad making.

I think if you are willing to go on the internet and post anywhere or put things up about yourself you have to have a thick skin I know words can hurt some folk but we tend not to take any harsh things to heart as usually its a sado sitting behind a keyboard that has no life and wants to impact on others.

Yes it happens,it will always continue ,jealousy is often the cause of it ,as OP above has stated thick skin is a must ,it really is a shame when the newbies are targeted by the fab gang .Would really like to see how most would defend their actions when approached face to face and not behind a keyboard

I haven't suffered directly from it, but I have been witness to how it has affected others' lives. Sometimes with a direct impact on their life outside Fab. No wonder people keep so much personal info just that, personal. Reveal too much and it leaves you wide open for criticism. I do have a thick skin so shrug off any negative vibes aimed my way. The block button is a wonderful enhancement on my keyboard. But then, it's never intruded on my personal life.

I know one or two no longer on here who did suffer from it, one quite badly that the Police were eventually involved.

Not something I would encourage on a site where we are supposed be adults having FUN

Angelic more often than not the person bullying knows full well the impact it's having on people lifes and that's what they thrive in is causing the said person as much pain as possible.

I had one person constantly tell me they don't hold grudges, yet they continue even now to try and get to me but it ain't working because at the end of the day I'm still here holding my head up high while they try everything they can to bring me down, even bringing other people into it that it has nothing what so ever to do with.

Theses people have nothing going on in their own lifes so try and destroy what other people have they will only win if you let them.

And on a last note the people who listen to the he said she said brigade need to wake up and think if you didn't hear or see what's gone on then dont join in the all the crap ..be happy people lifes too short

Agreed Jacs. It can be same on any social networking site. See it all the time on FB, people posting things that they have seen on others pages, without actually knowing if there is any truth in it. Just like sheep, follow the trend.

Way too many brown nosers and fence sitters in life, as well as on here. People are needing to get some morals, and start thinking for themselves. Gossip is the root of so much destruction.

And then we wonder why our chat rooms get branded "cliquey". Always seems to originate from one group, the chat room pseudo kings and queens. I think not! Stamp it out in the playground as well as on here. Say no to bullying in any shape or form.
